TRY 100PLUS & WATER - NOT PANADOL
Got this e-mail from my mother. Don't play play, we contact via msn and e-mail.
DON'T TAKE PANADOL or PANADOL ACTI FAST or PANADOL SOLUBLE ( ESP. PEOPLE HAVE GASTRIC).

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital is planning to set up a database of its patient. And he knows some of the doctor quite well.
The doctors used to tell him that whenever they have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL (PARACETMOL). In fact,they will turn to Chinese Herbal Medicine or find other alternatives.
This is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor, Panadol will reside in the body for at least 5 years. And according to the doctor, there used to be an incident where an air stewardess consumes a lot of panadol during her menstrual as she needs to stand all the time. She's now in her early 30's, and she needs to wash her kidney (DIALYSIS) every month.
As said by the doctor that whenever we have a headache, that's because it is due to the electron/Ion imbalance in the brain. As an alternative solution to cope with this matter, they suggested that we buy 1 or 2 cans of isotonic drink ( eg.100PLUS), and mix it with drinking water according to a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (simply, it means one cup 100plus, one cup water.or 2 cups water).
Me and my husband have tried this on several occasions, and it seems to work well.
Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it bring the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.
As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain).
We all will fall ill as we aged, for woman, we would need to go through childbirth. Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial amount of Panadol (Pain Killer) when you need to have a surgery or operation, you will need a much more amount of general anesthetic to numb your surgical pain than the average person who seldom or rarely takes Panadol . If you have a very high intake of Panadol throughout your life (Migraine, Menstrual cramps) it is very likely that normal general anesthetic will have no effects on you as your body is pumped full with panadol and your body is so used to pain killer that you would need a much stronger pain killer, Morphine??
Value your life, THINK b4 you easily pop that familiar pill into your mouth again. Please send this to people you care about.

Singapore's Merlion tourism icon struck by lightning
Last night my ex was laughing over this news when we're chatting on msn. This morning got this e-mail.
Singapore's Merlion stone sculpture, popular with tourists, has been temporarily closed for repairs after being struck by lightning, the Singapore Tourism Board said Sunday.
The lightning bolt struck the 36-year old sculpture -- a lion's head with a mermaid's tail -- at the mouth of the Singapore River on the southern waterfront during a Saturday afternoon thunderstorm.
A small section of the mane on the left side of the lion head and its right ear were chipped off as a result, while the wave form at its sculpture's base also suffered a crack.
The lightning strike scattered debris and sent about 20 to 30 people, including tourists, who were in the area, running for cover, the Straits Times newspaper reported. A local television news channel said orange sparks flew and a loud explosion was heard at the time.
But the agency's statement said no one was hurt in the incident.
It said it "has engaged contractors to investigate the cause of the incident and carry out immediate assessment of the structure and repairs."
The Merlion, although an icon created by the tourism agency, has some elements of myths related to Singapore's ancient history.
The name Singapore comes from "Singapura," a mixture of Malay and Sanskrit, which means "Lion City." It was given that name apparently because a Hindu prince in ancient times had spotted a lion-like creature when he landed on the island.
Singapore faced a spate of fierce thunderstorms over the weekend.

NEW tires for the rear or the front?

Flyer GM quits
IN A shock move, Singapore Flyer general manager Steven Yeo - the public face of the attraction since the Dec 23 incident which left 173 people trapped on the giant observation wheel for six hours - has resigned.
He tendered his resignation on Monday, giving six months' notice.
But Flyer management told him to go immediately, and by yesterday afternoon, he had cleared out his desk.
His sudden exit was among several signs of tension among the Flyer's top management.
Contacted last night, Mr Yeo declined to go into the details of his departure.
'I have no further comment as I would rather deal with the matter privately with Flyer management,' he said.
When asked about his resignation and the reasons for it, Singapore Flyer management would only confirm that he was gone.
But, according to Mr Yeo's resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Straits Times, he quit over differences with his bosses and alleged breaches of his terms of employment.
Mr Yeo, 46, was previously general secretary of the Football Association of Singapore and deputy chief executive officer of the Singapore Sports Council.
In his resignation letter, he said he had joined the Flyer on the understanding that as general manager, he would hold 'the most senior management position and would be responsible for all operating functions'.
But, a week before the Flyer incident, company chairman Florian Bollen decided to form an executive committee and have Mr Yeo report to it. That, Mr Yeo alleged in his letter, had 'negated' his role.
The result, he wrote, was that he was confined to 'micro management'.
The Straits Times also learnt yesterday of tensions within the Flyer's four-man board of directors, who comprise Mr Bollen, Mr Joerg Loewejohann, Mr Peter Purcell and Mr Thomas Bone Winkel.
Mr Bollen and Mr Purcell are Singapore permanent residents, while the other two are Germans.
Mr Purcell told The Straits Times that he had had frequent disagreements with Mr Bollen on various matters concerning how the business was run. He declined to go into further detail.
When asked about tension at the top, a company spokesman said last night: 'There have been minority opinions from time to time, but the board has a majority of support.
'In any matter of discussion, a difference of opinions is quite natural. There are disagreements, but in no particular areas.'
Pressed to elaborate, he said the matters were confidential.
Meanwhile, The Straits Times understands that questions have also been raised about the Flyer's financial health.
A report prepared recently for one of banks linked to the Flyer questioned its ability to meet expected revenue projections, among other things.
But the Flyer spokesman said the company had rejected the report.
He admitted that the attraction had been hit badly by the shutdown since the Dec 23 incident, as that meant missing what would have been a busy Christmas and New Year period.
But, he added: 'We are absolutely financially stable.
'We suffered because the Christmas sales were not there. It was a major blow for us, to be very frank about it, but we are insured against the loss of revenue.'
A fire in the control room caused the giant observation wheel to stop turning on Dec 23. The incident led to a police-mandated shutdown.
Two weeks into the closure, tenants at the Flyer complex are anxious about when it will reopen, and whether visitors will return.
The company spokesman would only say last night that initial investigations had been done and the company had come up with technical solutions which would be presented to the authorities today.
It hoped an announcement would be made by the end of the week, he added.

New Fraud Cases
Someone shares the following cases...
(1) Today I passed by a building which has an ATM machine. There was an old man looking at me. suddenly called me. He said he didn't know how to read, so he gave me his ATM card and asked me to help him withdraw money from the ATM machine. I answered 'NO! If you need help, ask the security to help you.' Then he said 'nevermind..' and continued to find other people to help him..
REMEMBER: ATM machines have CCTVs. If you help him he will later claim that you have robbed him or stolen his ATM card. Besides, his ATM card could be a stolen one. So please be careful of these frauds.
(2) Suddenly your house lights go off. From your window you find that your neighbours still have lights. So you go out of your house to check the Meter Box. But once you open the door, a knife will be pointing at you and preventing you from closing it. This is when you will be robbed and injured robbed and injured.
REMEMBER : Even though your electricity suddenly goes off, DO NOT open your door immediately. Look around to see if there is anything unusual or if there is any noise around.
(3) This is another incident. You may have heard it before, It is about a lady who she saw a kid crying by the roadside When she spoke to the kid, the kid told her he was lost and wanted her to take him home. The kid even gave her a paper with his house address. So she took him home. But when she rang the door bell she had an electric shock. Later when she woke up, she was naked in an empty room.
REMEMBER: Being such a compassionate and helpful person might not be a good thing these days. Pass this on and girls, please be careful.. DON'T BE TOO KIND!
(4) One day, there was an old lady outside my house holding 2 packets of sweets. At first I thought she was our neighbour and wanted to give us these packs of sweets as a gift. But then when she spoke, I soon realised that she was a foreigner. I could not understand what she was talking about. I guessed she must be asking for money. I sensed there was something wrong and immediately closed the door and ignored her. Later, I found she and an accomplice robbed someone else down the road.
(5) I was at the ATM machine to withdraw some money. Behind me, there was an old lady. She asked me whether I was able to withdraw my money because she said she had problem with her machine. Suddenly a small girl came up beside me. The small girl was squeezing infront of me. I thought she was just naughty and playful. But then, the small girl put her hand at the hole of my ATM machine where the money came out, ready to take away my money. I sensed something wrong and immediately pushed her away. Later I realised that the small girl and the old lady worked together. She was trying to steal my money while the old lady was trying to distract my attention by asking me questions!
REMEMBER: BE VERY CAREFUL when you are at an ATM machine and be alert. Look out for anyone suspicious around you.
(6) My parents are retired and stay at home most days. One afternoon, a young stranger went to their house and said his motorcycle had no more petrol and the petrol station was too far for him to push his bike there. So he asked my parents for an empty coke bottle to buy some petrol. He said he will pay RM2 for the bottle. So my mum took one coke bottle for him. He really took out the money from his pocket, but it was a RM100 note. He told my mum he had no small change and asked my mum to give him the change. Luckily my mum was smart. She just told him to take it for free.
REMEMBER: Obviously that note is fake! Who would want to pay for RM2 for an empty coke bottle!! It's very OBVIOUS that that stranger is a trickster.
(7) This happened in Bali. A newly married couple were having their honeymoon at the hotel. When both are in the changing room, the wife suddenly went missing. The husband was very anxious and went around to find her. He asked the hotel staff to help him find her. Then he thought his wife was just playing hide and seek. So he went back and waited for his wife. After a few hours, he decided to call the police. 3 weeks passed and there was still no news about his missing wife. So he went backand was very dissapointed and sad. A few years later, he came back to Bali, to watch a 'FREAK SHOW' in an old house. He saw a dirty andrusty metal cage. Inside there was a lady without limbs Her body including the face was full of scars. When he had a closer look at her face, he was shocked to findthat it was her missing wife put there as a means for begging.
(8) This happened in Shanghai. A few years ago, a lady reported to the police that her cousin sister was missing in the shopping complex. But after 5 years, one of her friends found her cousin sister begging at the road side one of the streets in Bangkok, Thailand . The worst thing is that her cousin sister has no more limbs and her body was tied toa lamp post with a shackle (metal chain).
(9) Let's just shorten this story. DO NOT open your house door when you hear the sound of a BABY CRYING!! It might be a trap! Women in the house must be alert to this trick. The police said it is the work of a robber or murderer using the recording of a baby crying to attract your attention. This normally happens at night and when you are only alone in the house especially.
(10) I read an email that was sent by my friend. Her friend, known as A, went to Luo Hu Commercial City with 2 friends, B and C. Luo Hu Commercial City is the Shenzhen counterfeit goods distribution center. There are many people there. It's also near to the ShenZhen train station and Hong Kong's Luo Hu Port. C went to the toilet at the shopping centre while A and B waited outside. After waiting for a long, time they felt uneasy and went into the toilet to look for her. When they went in, there was nobody inside there. Both were scared and they called C's phone.There was no one answered. So they reported to the police. The police asked them whether they had seen anyboby suspicious going into the toilet. Both said there were none and its impossible to bring a life person with more out of the toilet without them noticing. Then A remembered seeing a cleaner pushing a trolley in, and then coming out. The police told them that was not the 1st time such a thing happened. The police suspected a gang of criminals who were always attacking women in the the toilet of shopping complexes. They use cleaners to kidnap people to harvest their organs for sale.
REMEMBER: Please be careful when using the toilet. Do not go to the wash room or toilet ALONE! Please at least have a partner with you.

When they went in, there was nobody inside there. Both were scared and they called C's phone.There was no one answered. So they reported to the police. The police asked them whether they had seen anyboby suspicious going into the toilet. Both said there were none and its impossible to bring a life person with more out of the toilet without them noticing. Then A remembered seeing a cleaner pushing a trolley in, and then coming out. The police told them that was not the 1st time such a thing happened. The police suspected a gang of criminals who were always attacking women in the the toilet of shopping complexes. They use cleaners to kidnap people to harvest their organs for sale.
REMEMBER: Please be careful when using the toilet. Do not go to the wash room or toilet ALONE! Please at least have a partner with you.

Chicken Hanging with dripping blood @ Singapore

STOMPer Koh's neighbour hangs the chicken out on a bamboo pole to dry and the STOMPer said that it is so gross because it is dripping with blood.
The STOMPer snapped a picture of the chicken at Block 32 Old Airport Road which was hung out to dry for the fifth time on Sunday (Dec 21).
She sent in an MMS today (Dec 24) and told STOMP:
"I could not believe that my neighbour would hang a chicken out to dry until I saw it for myself. My family told me that it was done several times before.
"The last time my neighbour hung the chicken, it was dripping with blood and it soiled my sister-in-law's clothes.
"How inconsiderate can people get?"

A few days ago a new type of crime has surfaced in town. It goes something like this:- Somebody slips a hand-phone into your pocket, sometimes it could be just a wallet with an identity card and a few ringgit.
A few minutes later, the 'owner' comes up and confronts you, the 'thief '. He makes a big commotion that you stole his stuff.
You, caught unaware, are then pulled aside by the 'owner' for a settlement you are intimidated and threatened that if you do not pay up the police will be brought in. If you pay up, this 'owner' lets you go. If not, the police are brought in.
Another strange thing is that there always seems to be a 'witness' to the your 'theft'.
I am told this often happens to foreigners at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or even at LRT trains. Given that you're 'guilty until proven innocent' as far as the Malaysian police are concerned, I understand some poor people are in jail for these 'offences'.
At the KLIA, the 'owner' throws his hand-phone and wallet with the few ringgit notes into the luggage trolley of a just arrived passenger. The drama unfolds a few minutes later. The real culprit has
easily convinced our Malaysian police to arrest the real victim (if he has not paid up the 'settlement' demand). This is a very serious matter.
This is another form of extortionists operating in broad daylight. They are disgusting criminals who will do anything to rob and steal. The sickening part of the whole scenario is that unless you pay the "quoted settlement" money, they will put you in real trouble by calling the police..
The real culprit gets back his hand-phone and wallet but the real victim ( i.e. could be any one of us) is thrown into the police lock up and charged in court.
So do be very careful, otherwise you may end up as a "thief" as you have no way to prove your innocence.
Pass it on..... let more people be aware of such things around them.

4.What happens when Melamine is digested？
Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones blocking the tubes. Pain will be eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell.
Although surgery can remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage. It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require kidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.
What is dialysis？In fact, it should be called "blood washing" it is filtering all of the body's blood into the machine and then go back to the body.
The whole process takes 4 hours and it is necessary to dialysis once for every 3 days for the rest of your life.

You just swing you arm and scratch the key on his face..... then RUN AND SCREAM OUT LOUD!!!!!
