Got this e-mail from Nikita as always so I post think up for my own updates when I reach Singapore ^_^ Fun time is waiting for me :)

SAVOUR THE SWEETEST DELIGHTS – OF ALL THE SENSES – AT OUR MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL AT CENTRAL STARTING THIS WEEKEND.

Akita Kanto Festival, 30 Aug, 7.30pm (30 minute performance)

40 performers from Japan will kick-start the festivities on a bright note on Sat 30 Aug at 7.30 pm in the Akita Kanto Festival.

A Kanto is a dramatic array of candle-lit lanterns hung on a bamboo frame, each weighing 50 kg, and soars 12 metres into the air, forming a breath-taking sight of 46 lanterns, each suspended and swaying to the movements of the performers, as they dance to the accompaniment of flutes and drums.

JOIN THEM – and celebrate this unique festival to the sound of loud, distinctive Kanto cheers.
